Job Description
A Fruit Line Processor is an on-site position and requires regular attendance at the facility. It is responsible for preparing, processing, and packaging fresh cut fruit products according to company specifications and food safety standards.
Work is performed in a cold production environment as part of a team that creates finished fruit items for distribution. Schedule: 4:00am – 12:30pm Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Cut, slice, dice, peel, and bag fruit products using knives or mechanical equipment
- Wash, weigh, and package fruit according to recipe and portion guidelines
- Follow standard recipes and production specifications to ensure consistency and quality
- Operate high speed ‑mechanical processing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following GMPs and food safety
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals in a refrigerated environment
Qualifications
- Experience with manual knife work or food processing equipment is preferred
- Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and safety procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Team oriented attitude and reliability in attendance and performance
Pay
$22-24 per hour, with potential 90-day performance-based raise and yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure
