A Fresh Cut Produce Clerk is hands-on with fresh fruits and vegetables—slicing, dicing, and packaging produce to perfection. You’ll check for freshness, maintain clean and organized prep areas, and create attractive displays that delight customers. The role also includes assisting with inventory management, restocking, and customer service. Responsibilities

• Slice, dice, and package fresh produce to meet quality standards.
• Inspect produce for freshness and adhere to food safety and handling guidelines.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized prep areas and workspaces.
• Create attractive produce displays to enhance customer appeal.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service, addressing inquiries and needs.
• Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in grocery, food service, or produce prep preferred.
• Comfortable using knives and other prep tools with attention to safety and precision.
• Ability to identify quality produce and follow food safety guidelines.
• Friendly and helpful attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Capable of multitasking and managing time efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to support fellow associates and contribute to a positive store culture.
