Fresh Cut Produce Associate

Here’s What You’ll Do

• Prepare all varieties of cut fruits and vegetables.
• Maintain display and quality control.
• Become certified in Fresh Cuts Production.
• Maintain Clean and Safe working environment.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Some Retail experience (a plus).
• Some Computer Skills.
• Basic mathematic skills.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
• Subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Subject to noise levels in the work environment (low to moderate).

Travel Requirements

• Vary by assignment.

Position Summary: Maintain and operate the Fresh Cut Produce department including trimming and preparation of merchandise according to company and department standards; to ensure that the work shift contributes to the financial best interest of the store. Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner.
