About the role
The Support Lead supports the direction of the Front End Lead(s) and sales associates under the leadership of the Store Manager/Leader and Customer Service Manager. They are responsible for all key functions of the store as directed, including ensuring associates wow the customer, managing front end operations, cash management, cleanliness, safety, and driving sales.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all associates and managers are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers
- Lead Front End Operations
- Train the staff on the High Fives of Customer Service
- Maintain store cleanliness and readiness for customers
- Open and close store procedures
- Assist with Front End Operations
- Supervise all Associates
- Coach and develop all Associates
- Review all corporate communications and react accordingly
- Drive store sales and control expenses
- Aid in payroll process and ensure payroll is within budget
- Aid in merchandising procedures
- Adhere to and hold associates accountable to all Five Below’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Authorize register functions including post voids, returns, and discounts
- Comply with Human Resources policies and procedures
- Aid in receiving and stocking procedures
- Unload merchandise from trucks
- Stage merchandise for the sales floor
- Pack out merchandise
- Assist with front end and queue merchandising
- Drive Key Metrics: Sales, ADS, CSAT Scores, and Expense Control
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- College experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
