Freight Handler – Hand Loader / Hand Stacker

About the role

Humano is seeking Freight Handlers/General Laborers for a hands-on manual labor position in a freezer/cold-climate warehouse environment. This role focuses on unloading, hand loading, hand stacking, palletizing, and moving freight. No prior warehouse experience is required—we train dependable, hardworking individuals ready to work as part of a team.

This position starts as Part-Time with Full-Time options, with potential for increased hours as workload demands.

Responsibilities

• Hand loading and unloading trucks
• Hand stacking boxes and product onto pallets
• Moving product from floor level to above shoulder height
• Palletizing and organizing freight
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following all warehouse safety procedures
• Working collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet operational goals
• Performing additional warehouse duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift approximately 25–75 lbs. by hand
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, stack, and move product
• Ability to work in a freezer/cold-climate environment
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to safely stack product from floor level to above shoulder level
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team
• Pallet Jack experience preferred
• Standing forklift experience is a plus

Working Environment

This position requires working in a freezer/cold-climate environment for periods ranging from approximately 1–12+ hours, depending on workload and operational needs. Boxes typically weigh 25–75 lbs. and are manually loaded into trucks or stacked onto pallets.

Pay

Base Pay: $19.00 per hour with additional loading/unloading incentives available.

Schedule

• Monday–Saturday
• Shift: 3:00 PM until work completion
