Freight Forwarder, Ocean Export

Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws

Education & Experience

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in ocean exports is highly desirable

Pay Range

The expected base pay range for this position is $22.25 – $30.25/hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
