Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklifts safely and follows company standards and guidelines.
• Completes work assignments and prioritizes tasks effectively.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies.
• Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracking goods and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging merchandise.
• Uses inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly, reports poor inventory practices, and monitors for shrinkage risks and security.
• Operates and maintains forklifts safely and correctly, reports poor or unsafe conditions, and performs occasional audits for accuracy.
• Proactively identifies customers needing help, engages them, and assists with technology services.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems, takes steps to fix them, and properly maintains equipment.
• Respects individuals by embracing differences, fostering a culture of belonging, and supporting associates' growth.
• Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, acting selflessly, and being accountable.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.

Pay Range

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00*

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
