Freezer Operator - Automation & Robotics - Nights

Responsible Tasks

• Oversee and resolve automation faults on pallet conveyor, case conveyors, conventional palletizers, and robotic palletizers.
• Operate powered industrial forklifts.
• Follow specific SOPs, clean processes, and document Food Safety and Quality programs, processes, and inspections.
• Manage robots: correct faults, monitor product stacking, assist maintenance, adjust settings, and coordinate flavor changes.
• Perform shack duties: maintain product flow, troubleshoot conveyors, create inventory in Oracle, and generate LPNs.
• Manage palletizers: correct faults, monitor product stacking, assist maintenance, adjust settings, and coordinate flavor changes.
• Manage inducts: verify pallet quality, correct faults, manually operate inducts when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality programs and processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Warehouse experience and forklift knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge or ability to learn specialized knowledge and ability to be trained in the area of work.
• Time management and effective communication skills.
• Ability to perform all required duties in an efficient, safe manner.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructions, perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, work with a sense of urgency, troubleshoot, and problem solve.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and perform duties with a positive attitude.

Pay and Schedule

• Starting rate of $28.41/hr.
• Pay increases at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.
• Top rate of pay at 12 months is $31.56/hr.
• Night shift receives an additional $1.50/hr for night shift differential.

About the Role

• Approximate shift start times of 4:55 PM and 6:55 PM with normal shift lengths of 10 -12 hours.
