Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in skaters for freestyle sessions using the rink’s check-in system.
- Collect payments or verify passes as needed.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to skaters, coaches, and parents.
- Communicate rink policies and session rules clearly and respectfully.
- Aid with basic opening duties to ensure the rink is ready for morning sessions.
- Help with basic first aid.
Requirements
- Availability during the dates: November 22-30 and December 19-1/4.
- Flexible schedule between 5:45 AM and 10:00 AM.
- Reliable and punctual (must enjoy early mornings).
- Outgoing and approachable with strong customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable handling check-ins and payments.
- Interested in learning additional roles within rink operations.
Growth Opportunities
- Cross-training into other rink operations, including:
- Skate Guard: Monitoring public sessions to ensure safety on the ice.
- Pro Shop Representative: Ticket sales, member management and customer service.
- Rink Technician: Gaining hands-on experience with ice maintenance and facility operations.
