About the role
Join an impactful project capturing the energy and significance of the March on Washington in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a student or emerging videographer/content creator passionate about documenting live events and producing compelling social media content.
Responsibilities
- Film crowd moments, conduct short interviews, capture behind-the-scenes footage
- Create dynamic B-roll
- Produce multiple short-form, vertical videos optimized for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Edit and deliver polished video content using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software
- Provide all raw footage to the client after the event
- Ensure clear audio capture during interviews and live moments
- Collaborate with the host to highlight key moments and interactions with attendees
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in event videography, documentary-style shooting, or street interviews
- Proficiency in creating short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Strong skills in video editing, preferably with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Able to work efficiently in fast-moving, live event settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conducting interviews
- Willingness to travel to Washington, DC, and work on-site for the event
- Reliable equipment for both video and audio capture
- Strong attention to detail and creative storytelling abilities
