About the role
At Uber AI Solutions, we are reimagining how the world interacts with technology by providing high-performing Generative AI models with precision data labeling, testing, and alignment. Everything we do revolves around our core infrastructure—including our uTask task-orchestration platform—to ensure the highest standards of data excellence, human-in-the-loop validation, and strategic quality frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Formulate operational plans, track milestones, and manage task workflows using Uber AI Solutions platforms (including uTask).
- Drive the end-to-end data lifecycle for financial AI initiatives.
- Design, draft, and refine highly detailed Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) instruction sets, prompt guidelines, and gold-standard response templates for complex financial datasets.
- Build and enforce comprehensive quality frameworks and evaluation (Evals) matrices to benchmark model output clarity, regulatory compliance, risk parameters, and mathematical accuracy.
- Explain complex machine learning annotation tasks, edge-case evaluations, and reinforcement criteria directly to finance specialists, bridging the technical gap for non-technical experts.
- Configure and manage automated multi-turn review models, such as consensus alignments, edit-reviews, and sample quality audits to guarantee the integrity of human-in-the-loop training data.
Requirements
- Proven track record working directly on Generative AI data preparation, specifically focused on crafting instructions for Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), benchmarking evaluation datasets (Evals), and setting up LLM performance metrics.
- Strong foundational understanding of corporate accounting, financial analysis, investment modeling, or audit protocols. Ability to synthesize complex financial regulatory requirements into structured AI rules.
- Exceptional ability to write scalable, unambiguous guidelines and instruction booklets for domain experts handling high-risk, sensitive, or deeply analytical datasets.
- Experience managing agile, fast-paced data projects, keeping track of task queues, error rates, throughput speed, and data pipeline health.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree or professional credentialing in Finance, Accounting, Computational Finance, or an AI/Data-related field.
- Technical familiarity with data orchestration pipelines, programmatic data exchanges, or structured content validation platforms.
