Freelance Presentation Designer

About the role

Mindrift is looking for a highly skilled Presentation Designer to join the Tendem project at https://tendem.ai/. The role involves driving specialized storytelling workflows within our hybrid AI + human system. You will collaborate with Tendem Agents handling repetitive tasks, while providing critical thinking, domain expertise, and formatting skills to deliver beautifully designed, high-stakes presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design high-stakes pitch decks and professional one-pagers tailored for specific audiences.
• Translate complex data into clear visual storytelling with a strong focus on minimalism and precise information hierarchy.
• Elevate presentations using custom fonts, elegant animations, and perfect visual consistency.
• Enforce a polished, persuasive, and premium corporate-meets-creative style across all deliverables.
• Execute formatting quality standards through meticulous validation of visual alignment, pacing, and brand adherence before final delivery.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or related creative fields (plus).
• Expertise in PowerPoint, Keynote, etc., for building complex, dynamic, and perfectly animated decks.
• Deep proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Figma to create custom graphics and layouts.
• Ability to translate complex data and multi-level hierarchical structures into clear, minimalist visual storytelling.
• Advanced skills in working with custom fonts and smooth, elegant animations for premium deliverables.
• Upper-intermediate (B2) or above English proficiency (required).

Project time expectations

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution. Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise.
