FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER

About the role

Cashman & Associates, an award-winning full-service lifestyle communications and integrated marketing agency, is seeking a Freelance Graphic Designer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Production, Art Direction, Photography, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Must submit portfolio with a minimum of (3) examples/case studies of client work including original design generation specifically in event and social media applications.
• Must be proficient in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop.
• Must have demonstrated experience producing high-quality, engaging and creative event materials, motion graphics and Stories, Instagram Reels, TikTok, IGTV, etc.
• A creative thinker, writer, and designer with an elevated taste level and keen attention to detail.
• Must be abreast of latest trends and creative applications for design applications for events both in lifestyle, fashion and corporate applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create graphics and banding suites for events (invites, signage, program documents, etc.), social media, and promotional applications including advertisements.
• Ensure consistency across all visual designs to build a strong brand identity.
• Adapt designs for various mediums including social media, digital platforms, print, and more.
• Proficiency in typography, color theory, and design principles to create impactful visuals, especially in high-end and luxury applications.
• Efficiently manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adjust designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
• Awareness of industry trends and the ability to integrate them into projects.
