Freelance Graphic Designer

Freelance engagement, approximately 20–30 hours per week. Initial project term of 1–2 months, with the possibility of extension. On-site work is preferred in the Newport Beach, California area.

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Graphic Designer to support a fast-paced consumer products and e-commerce business during a seasonal peak period. This freelance role will focus on creating polished, conversion-minded visual assets for direct-to-consumer and online marketplace product listings.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling product listing graphics and digital retail assets for e-commerce channels.
• Edit, retouch, and manipulate product photography to meet brand and marketplace standards.
• Develop visual content that clearly communicates product features, benefits, and use cases.
• Collaborate with the creative team to manage multiple projects and meet short turnaround times.
• Use AI-enabled creative tools, including proprietary tools, to support efficient design workflows.
• Deliver approximately 3–5 projects per week while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Demonstrated experience with product photo editing, retouching, and image manipulation.
• A portfolio that reflects strong visual storytelling, layout, typography, and brand consistency.
• Experience creating retail, e-commerce, or online marketplace product listing graphics is preferred.
• Comfort working with a range of AI tools in a creative production environment.
• Ability to prioritize competing requests, work independently, and deliver high-quality work on deadline.
