About the role

Lightly AG is an ETH and HSG spin-off pioneering in machine learning and computer vision. Backed by Y Combinator and top-tier investors, our technology is used by global leaders in autonomous driving, medical imaging, and visual inspection. We're looking for analytical and driven Geopolitical and Event Forecasting Professionals to help evaluate AI-generated predictions about real-world events. This is a part-time project with an estimated scope of approximately 15 hours per week, expected to begin early July.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated event forecasts by assessing the accuracy and quality of predictions covering elections, central bank decisions, policy announcements, and technology/regulatory events using a provided rubric.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of recent experience in political analysis, macroeconomics, geopolitical risk, or policy research.
• Experience producing or evaluating probabilistic forecasts, such as election modelling, policy impact assessments, or macro scenario analysis.
• Familiarity with prediction markets (e.g., Polymarket, Metaculus) or superforecasting methodologies.
• Fluency in English (required).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely.
