Freelance 3D Experiential Designers

About the role

We’re a marketing agency of strategists, producers, creatives, designers and talented problem solvers, and we’re growing our team. We want someone who is hungry to learn new skills and can manage big projects with a collaborative team, and ready to enjoy the occupational banquet of experiential, content, social and digital work at Factory 360.

Key responsibilities

• Designing environments for brand experiences
• Developing simple and elegant approaches to complex design problems that keep business goals, technical requirements, and project budget in mind
• Self-motivated, balancing multiple projects and timelines, with an ability to prioritize when needed
• Strong skills in 3D design, environmental design, visual rendering, and graphic design for brand events
• Collaborating cross-functionally account teams and outside partners
• Opportunity for minimal travel for site visits, installs, etc

Qualifications

• Include 2-6+ years experience, either in an experiential agency and/or in-house studio environment as an environmental designer/experiential designer, or in a field where you’ve developed comparable skill sets
• A robust portfolio of environmental design work
• Skills in both 2D and 3D design, developing everything from digital ads to environmental graphics to 3D design of spaces
• Strong understanding of fabrication, with the ability to manage relationships with fabricators, print vendors, creative tech partners etc
• Demonstrated fluency with design tools including the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, VRay or Podium, knowledge of motion graphics or video editing are a plus
