Frederick Keys Marketing Intern
Attain Sports brings a community-focused, values-driven, and player-centric approach to connect diverse groups and create impact through the power of sports. The company owns and manages four baseball teams and is an owner of a United Soccer League (USL) Championship Club.
About the role
This part-time internship is designed for current university students who will receive college credit. The Marketing Intern will gain real-world experience working with an experienced marketing team, building a professional network, and engaging with fans through various avenues. The role involves collaborating with the Keys and Attain Marketing Team to create graphics, advertisements, social media content, in-game entertainment, and more.
Responsibilities
- Promote the Keys' various events and promotions in the community through the distribution of marketing materials.
- Assist with social media coverage of outside public appearances and events.
- Assist with the creation of promotional materials, including graphics for print and web, fliers for promotional use, and registration forms.
- Assist with the creation and posting of video content to social media.
- Assist with the creation of stills, videos, and ribbon board content for in-game use.
- Gain knowledge and experience in the management and responsibilities of marketing a professional sports team.
- Shadow and learn from top-tier marketing staff, as directed by the Senior Marketing and Gameday Manager.
- Represent the organization at outside community events and appearances.
- Represent the organization as the mascot Keyote, as needed.
- Work Frederick Keys home games and other events held at Nymeo Field as directed.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Senior Marketing and Gameday Manager, Marketing Coordinator, and General Manager of the Keys.
Requirements
- College sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students working for academic credit in Sport Management or Marketing.
- Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, X, and other social media platforms.
- Some experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or other Adobe software.
- Ability to uphold company and Attain customer service standards.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and a dedicated team player.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work event nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Eagerness to listen, learn, and receive constructive feedback.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives.

Start Date: August/September 2026
End Date: December 2026 (school schedule permitting)
Pay
Unpaid; college credit provided.
