Pay

The salary for this role is $100,000 to $110,000 per year, DOE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all healthcare personnel, including hiring, training, evaluating, and counseling within established policies and procedures.
• Supervise medication room, LPNs, Nursing Assistants, Medication Assistants/CMAs, and Health Services Associates.
• Plan, implement, supervise, and schedule nursing services.
• Provide intervention to respond to emergencies and problems.
• Maintain medical charting and required documentation under state regulatory guidelines and corporate policies.
• Assess residents for changes in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care.
• Administer and coordinate medications for residents, serve as the community’s Registered Nurse, and order medication and refills.
• Work closely with residents and families to develop and implement appropriate care plans.
• Assist residents in medical appointments and coordinate required transportation.
• Participate in rotation of on-call duty.
• On occasion, supervise licensed nurses and nurse’s aides.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in Nursing.
• Experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is preferred.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a consulting role on a regional and facility level.
• Strong leadership and teaching skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.

• Pushes and pulls up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
• Climbs, reaches, bends, and twists occasionally.
• Talks and listens occasionally.
• Sits 4 hours per day; stands and walks 4 hours per day (combined) – 8-hour day.
