About the role
The Franchise Onboarding Specialist (JumpStart Coach) facilitates, provides direction, and supports new franchisees in completing essential tasks to prepare them for a successful and timely launch of their business. This position reports to the head of Shared Services for BELFOR Franchise Group.
Responsibilities
- Schedules weekly meetings with new franchisees and directs, assists, and coordinates the timely completion of essential tasks outlined in the JumpStart program.
- Provides ongoing franchisee support, guidance, and direction on all tasks in the JumpStart task list.
- Works with and communicates effectively with all internal departments, following up to ensure timely exchange of information and completion of tasks.
- Works independently and collaboratively on assigned tasks while managing project due dates.
- Develops a solid working knowledge of FranConnect, the Franchise Management Platform.
- Ensures essential franchise data is recorded accurately for critical fields as required for each franchisee throughout their JumpStart process.
- Provides an introduction and overview of FranConnect to new franchisees.
- Facilitates tracking and reporting of franchisees' critical actions.
- Responds to inquiries and requests via phone and email in a timely manner.
- Conducts licensing and permitting research and data collection, compiles written summaries of findings, and provides ongoing support to ensure jurisdictional/local governmental compliance.
- Oversees related third-party vendor partnerships as they pertain to specific franchisee onboarding tasks.
- Assists in the coordination of New Buyer Training, including printing training materials, room setup, and coordinating lunches and dinners.
- Assists in a quarterly review of Pre-Launch manuals with the Brand President, including all associated forms, and makes recommendations for updates.
- Ensures franchisee satisfaction with on-time delivery of information and support.
- Updates the training calendars.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint).

Qualifications
- 1-2 years minimum experience in project management.
- Experience in the franchise industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
