Position Summary

The Franchise Marketing Manager, Southwest, drives restaurant revenue by executing marketing and advertising strategies in partnership with agencies and franchise operators. This role is full-time remote, located in Dallas, TX.

Job duties and responsibilities

  • Local Agency Management – Southwest Territory Lead the relationship with the local media agency to ensure marketing strategies align with brand standards. Develop, execute, and evaluate ongoing paid media plans. Review performance, opportunities, and optimizations during monthly marketing calls.

  • New Restaurant Openings Support (NRO) Partner with agencies, Franchise Operations, and Franchise Partners to ensure new restaurants meet or exceed the $21K AUV target for the first six months. Develop grand opening marketing strategies within budget guidelines. Ensure consistent execution of paid media plans with the local agency. Train designated local marketing leads on LRM tactics and Donatos marketing tools.

  • Core Market Support Analyze sales, check averages, and transaction trends to recommend effective marketing solutions. Identify and share above-store catering opportunities with Franchise Partners. Build relationships with local influencers and content creators. Evaluate local market plans (LRM, print, digital) and adjust as needed to improve performance. Participate in weekly marketing calls to align strategies, refine plans, and analyze owned and earned channel activity. Ensure execution of system incentives and partnerships at the local level. Guide strategic timing and placement of local marketing initiatives.

Work Arrangement Options

  • Remote Only: Position requires the majority of the Associate’s work to be off-site, in a Donatos location or venue, or in a selling capacity. The majority of the position’s work may also be solo work and not require an onsite resource.

  • Travel: Role is based in the Dallas, TX area and requires up to 60% overnight travel.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).

Previous Experience

  • 2+ years experience in direct experience in working with agency flow charts and media planning.

  • Direct experience with enterprise SEO tools and execution.

  • Strong operational, project management and prioritization skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, experience in dealing with multiple and diverse internal stakeholders, and interacting with business and technology partners.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, across all organizational levels.
