Franchise Clinical Operations Development Lead (CODL)

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $268,000 – $368,500 annually

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution for clinical operations across multiple assets
• Oversee creation and implementation of Clinical Development Plans (CDPs)
• Act as primary contact for all clinical activities within the franchise
• Identify and mitigate risks impacting franchise programs
• Manage lessons learned and operational synergies within the franchise
• Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
• Provide line management for Clinical Operations Development Leads (CODLs) in the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in medical/science fields; PhD preferred
• 15+ years in clinical development leadership
• Proven track record of overseeing CROs and vendor collaborations
• Experience in strategic and execution planning for clinical trials
• Knowledge in budget management and risk mitigation
• Background in rare diseases or auto-immune clinical trials
