The Franchise Business Partner works directly with Hana Group Franchisees to drive consistent positive sales growth, build strong customer and retailer relationships, and ensure compliance with product quality, food safety, and Hana Group program requirements.

Responsibilities
- Drive like-for-like (LFL) and comparable sales growth with franchisees through assortments, daily production targets, and planning for calendar events to maximize foot traffic in each retailer.
- Ensure franchisees comply with purchasing raw materials from Hana while adhering to spec guidelines in production manuals.
- Encourage franchisees to actively engage with customers within 10 feet of the sushi display case and drive positive consumer feedback via Medallia.
- Support grand opening efforts, site assessments, local permit support, competition analysis, and other tasks to ensure flawless openings as the business grows.
- Foster strong retailer partner relationships and address any concerns immediately.
- Assure proper execution of the company Food Safety Plan and GPM programs.
- Support daily, weekly, and/or monthly food safety routine checks, including monitoring production, SSOP, and pre/post-operation procedures.
- Provide ongoing education to franchisees on quality procedures, sensory evaluation, and adherence to product specifications/recipes.
- Support new franchisee recruitment by engaging franchisees in other retailers.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of food-related experience and/or franchise operations business management; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Understanding of food quality control principles, food safety regulations, and food production processes.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to locations in assigned area of responsibility (up to 75% domestic travel required).
- Strong tech skills; proficient in MS Office Suite, franchise business technology, and adaptable to new technologies.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead in company standards and best practices.
Pay
$75,000–$85,000 yearly.
