Franchise Business Consultant, FASTSIGNS

About the role

The Business Consultant position at Propelled Brands Franchising, LLC is responsible for working with assigned franchisees on brand standards and best practices to grow their businesses. Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying specific needs of franchisees
• Supporting franchisees' goals and priorities
• Evaluating and assisting franchisees in financial analysis, operating ratios, cash flow, budget projections, and financial ratio analysis
• Assisting with sales and marketing management, including hiring, training, and managing salespeople, and assisting with outside sales strategies
• Training franchisees on national salesperson programs and resources, marketing and advertising campaigns, database and e-marketing, and local marketing
• Ensuring compliance with company guidelines for production management, workflow, and support site resources
• Communicating regularly with relevant team members for action plan discussions and timely follow-up with franchisees
• Learning new FASTSIGNS products and service lines such as digital signage, FASTSIGNS Credit, small format printing, etc.
• Participating in annual conventions, outside sales summits, and other events as necessary
• Coordinating travel within company guidelines and staying within assigned regional yearly budget
• Assisting with special projects as assigned

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Financial Analysis: Balance Sheet and Income Statement analysis, operating ratios, cash flow, budget projection, and financial ratio analysis
• Operating Ratios/Guidelines: Financial Ratio Analysis spreadsheets, pricing strategy and analysis
• Sales & Marketing Management: Sales and sales management, including hiring, training, and managing salespeople, and outside sales strategies
• Marketing & Advertising Campaigns: National salesperson training programs and resources, marketing and advertising campaigns and programs
• Database, E-Marketing, Local Marketing: Workflow training programs available to franchisees, support site resources, Business Planning Center Management Software
• Production Management: Ensuring compliance with company guidelines for workflow, production management, and support site resources
• Communication: Regular communication with relevant team members for action plan discussions and timely follow-up with franchisees
• Special Projects: Assisting with special projects as assigned

Requirements

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, financial, or related field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in franchising
• 5+ years of experience in managing an accounting function in a medium or large size company
• Experience in the signage or print industry
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Strong candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a business, financial, or related field or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years of experience in franchising
• At least 5 years of experience in managing an accounting function in a medium or large size company
• Experience in the signage or print industry
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Pay

The Pay Range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 USD per year (Remote)
