About the role
Foster Garvey PC is seeking to hire a partner-level attorney with at least seven years of experience in Franchise Law and a portable book of business. This position offers the opportunity to work with the Firm’s diverse business clients on complex franchise matters across various industry sectors.
Responsibilities
- Navigate the complexities of franchise agreements, disclosure requirements, compliance issues, and dispute resolution.
- Represent both franchisors and franchisees, handle offering documentation, including franchise disclosure documents and registrations, draft Franchise Agreements and related documents, and address franchise relationship issues.
- Advising on compliance and handling governmental inquiries.
Requirements
- A portable book of business is required;
- 7 years of expertise in franchise law, representing franchisors and franchisees, handling offering documentation and franchise agreements, advising on compliance, and addressing franchise relationship issues and governmental inquiries;
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law required;
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills;
- A client-service approach and exceptional communication skills;
- Enthusiasm to work as part of a diverse team or independently;
- The ability to manage significant individual responsibilities;
- The ability to work on and manage multiple projects at one time;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications

Pay
The annualized salary range for this position is $200,000 to $325,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
