Role Overview

Job Title: Franchise Advisor
Job Type: Full-Time W2 Employee
Reports To: Senior Advisor
Department Head: Chief Growth Officer
Location: Work From Home or Hybrid Work at Omaha Headquarters
Compensation: $120,000 Base Salary (base + draw on commission) plus Deal Commission and Incentives. Expected annual income is $150,000 to $250,000+ depending on sales performance.

A Day in the Life...

On any given day, you’ll be onboarding new clients into the Sidekick process, leading strategy calls with franchise candidates, or coaching someone through a decision that could change their life. You’ll spend time reviewing franchise brand options, making thoughtful recommendations, and collaborating with internal specialists and brand partners.

  • A Clear Path For Growth- Every top performing Franchise Advisor is eligible to graduate to our Senior Advisor Program, which allows you to manage a team of your own Advisors and significantly expands earning potential beyond individual sales production. The Senior Advisor path is available to top-performing Advisors in as little as two years!
  • Paid Time Off- Every Sidekick starts with 16 days of PTO, two floating holidays, and a paid volunteer day annually. We also offer nine paid company holidays each year as well. Team Members earn additional PTO for each year of employment.
  • Franchise Ownership Program- After you're established with Sidekick, we offer a Franchise Purchase Discount which allows you to own your own Franchise Business at a $30,000 to $50,000 savings. Some restrictions and minimum qualifications apply to the discount.
  • Client Referral Commission- We encourage every member of Team Sidekick to utilize their network to find qualified candidates for franchise ownership. We pay $3,000 for every qualified lead you submit that ends up purchasing a franchise.
  • Sidekick Benefits- Sidekick offers the following benefits:
    • Full Medical Benefits with up to $875 monthly Employer Contribution (depending on plan type and level)
    • Employer Paid Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance ($0 cost to employees with options for family coverage)

    • 401k with 3% Employer Contribution (no match required)

This Role Might Be a Good Fit For You If:

  • Have worked in franchise development, business consulting, corporate B2B sales, or other client-facing role and know how to build trust and influence high-stakes decisions.
  • Have experience as a franchise owner, small business owner, or operator and understand the mindset and motivations of aspiring entrepreneurs.
  • Thrive in a consultative sales environment and have a proven track record of success influencing decision-makers.
  • Have a strong grasp of business metrics like ROI, FDDs, investment planning, and financial modeling or are eager to learn and apply them quickly.
  • Are motivated by helping others change their lives and love the idea of guiding people to entrepreneurship.
  • Know how to manage a complex pipeline and have experience guiding clients through multi-step consultative sales processes.
  • Are a strong communicator who listens with empathy, challenges with care, and delivers insights that move people from indecision to clarity.
  • Have a knack for managing multiple client relationships simultaneously and can keep everything moving with a high degree of professionalism and organization.
  • Have a strong personal network and enjoy marketing to it through channels like social media and referral outreach.
  • Enjoy working in a high-accountability, high-reward environment where your success is measured by both client outcomes and sales performance.

Working Conditions:

  • Franchise Sidekick utilizes a hybrid work structure with in-office and blended work.
  • Some travel is required (less than 20% annually).
