Williams-Sonoma, Inc. operates one of the largest home-furnishings retail networks in the country, with brands including Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and West Elm. Our Booneville, MS distribution center is a key part of our agile supply chain, supporting both eCommerce and furniture operations.

About the role

The Frame Builder assembles pre-cut wood parts into finished frames according to Sutter Street Manufacturing’s specifications and Standard Operating Procedures. This position supports the upholstery production lines and must maintain productivity targets of 6–8 frames per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Practice and promote safe work habits throughout the facility.
  • Follow all Williams-Sonoma policies with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
  • Retrieve pre-constructed frame parts and position them at the workstation.
  • Assemble frames ensuring they are square, level, and flush using hammers, nails, staples, and glue per SOP.
  • Verify all parts are ground level, no staples are exposed, and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Produce frames that meet Sutter Street’s quality standards at or above productivity requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of frame-building experience in upper-end upholstered furniture production.
  • Ability to read and interpret production tickets and simple instructions in a production manual.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English; ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures, keep accurate records, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 years of frame-building experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability beneficial.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift frames weighing 50–60 lbs.
  • Stand or sit for 10-hour shifts, with frequent bending and twisting at the waist and knees.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
