Roles and Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture frames per Shop Order Release (SOR) and/or Operational Method Sheet (OMS), drawings or schedules using appropriate tools such as gauges, screws, glues, compressed air staple gun, and other frame materials.
• Stand, walk, lift, and bend throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation. Most frequently lift frame parts but may occasionally lift entire completed frames weighing up to 40 lbs with assistance from a team.
• Inspect assembled frames for obvious damage, color consistency, alignment, and other material specifications, and ensure compliance with quality or workmanship standards.
• Keep the workspace and equipment clean and organized.
• Perform required preventive maintenance on any equipment used.
• Follow all safety guidelines and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Identify nonconformities, follow nonconforming product procedures, and be aware of disposition authority.
• Support process improvements and align with Kimball International's Vision and Guiding Principles, as well as its Quality system and Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Be available for mandatory overtime as requested.
