FPGA Design Engineer

About the role

The role involves designing and developing Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) for high-performance computing systems. The candidate will work closely with a team of engineers to develop innovative solutions that meet stringent performance and reliability standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement FPGA-based systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of FPGA designs
• Document design processes and results for future reference

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in FPGA design and development
• Experience with VHDL or Verilog programming
• Strong understanding of digital logic design principles
• Knowledge of hardware verification and test methodologies

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in using EDA tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Altera Quartus
• Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers is a plus
