FPGA/ASIC Verification Engineer– (Remote OR Hybrid – Sunnyvale, CA, Denver, CO, Houston, TX)

We are looking for an FPGA/ASIC Verification Engineer for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will verify FPGA/ASIC designs by developing HDL-based test environments, running simulations, debugging issues, and validating the design throughout the hardware development lifecycle.

Schedule

• 12-month contract (extensions likely)
• 40 hours per week (4-day, 10-hour shifts)

Location

Remote or hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA; Denver, CO; or Houston, TX.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• 9+ years of experience as an FPGA/ASIC Verification Engineer
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience in the verification of FPGA and/or ASIC devices
• HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
• Linux environment experience
• Experience with modern verification methodologies such as UVM, OVM, or VMM
• Experience in ASIC/FPGA lifecycle (architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration & test)
• FPGA/ASIC design experience is a plus
• Experienced in scripting such as Perl, TCL, or Python
