FP&A Process & Technology Manager

Overview

At Amgen, you have the opportunity to contribute to a mission that serves patients. This role is part of the Finance team, focusing on driving improvements in financial planning and reporting through global process mapping, standardization, and technology enablement.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support FP&A transformation initiatives across budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, management reporting, and performance management
• Conduct stakeholder interviews across functions and regions; develop process maps, perform fit-gap analyses, and design standardized, scalable FP&A processes
• Drive process standardization and simplification, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
• Prepare and execute change management plans, including training and communications, to ensure adoption of standardized processes, templates, metrics, and ways of working
• Partner with Finance and Technology to implement and enhance planning systems, data models, AI agents, and reporting tools
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including timelines, milestones, risks, and stakeholder alignment
• Track progress, adoption, and benefits realization of transformation initiatives

Requirements

• Masters degree AND 2 years of Finance experience
• OR Bachelors degree AND 4 years of Finance experience
• OR Associates degree AND 8 years of Finance experience
• OR High school diploma / GED AND 10 years of Finance experience
• Experience in FP&A, finance transformation, or process improvement
• Strong project management and change management skills
• Experience with financial systems, data tools, or automation solutions (e.g., Anaplan, SAP, Power BI)
• Ability to map processes, manage stakeholders, and deliver scalable solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree AND 4 years of Finance experience
• OR Associates degree AND 8 years of Finance experience
• OR High school diploma / GED AND 10 years of Finance experience
• Experience in FP&A, finance transformation, or process improvement

Pay

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
