FP& A Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business performance and operational goals.
- Prepare financial models and scenario analyses that help leadership evaluate trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage monthly close-related finance tasks, including manual reporting processes and analysis needed to meet deadlines.
- Deliver accurate variance analysis and explain key drivers affecting results across the business.
- Possess strong collaboration skills, partnering with directors and cross-functional stakeholders to provide actionable recommendations based on financial data.
- Support reporting and planning needs within small business lending or closely related financial operations.
- Use Excel and other planning tools to organize data, enhance reporting quality, and improve efficiency.
- Contribute to finance process improvements and provide support for planning activities tied to future OneStream adoption.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Strong background in building financial models and interpreting complex financial data for business decision-making.
- Experience supporting annual budget cycles and delivering meaningful variance and trend analysis.
- Knowledge of monthly financial close activities and the ability to work through detailed manual processes.
- Familiarity with small business lending, commercial finance, or a comparable financial services environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create clear, reliable, and efficient analysis tools.
- Ability to communicate financial insights effectively and collaborate with leaders across multiple functions.
Qualifications
Highly qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a corporate setting.
Proficiency in financial modeling software such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with OneStream financial planning and analysis tools is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required due to travel requirements.
