FP&A Manager
Fabletics Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager, FP&A to drive financial modeling, analysis, strategy, and reporting for multiple business lines across monthly, annual, and long-range forecasts. This role offers exposure to senior management, mission-critical decision-making, and the ability to drive meaningful change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
About the role
This position reports to the Director of FP&A and collaborates with teams including Global Retail, Wholesale, Amazon, Retail Activations, Emerging Business Channels, and Capex Analysis and Reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage and own Weekly KPI reporting and Monthly Forecast packages for Global Retail, Wholesale, Amazon, and other Emerging Business Channels.
- Own OpEx and Capital Expenditure reporting and variance analysis across the business.
- Build, operate, and maintain complex financial models for multiple lines of business to support forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and strategic projects.
- Assist in the annual bottoms-up budgeting process, including gathering inputs from multiple teams.
- Support the development of the long-range plan (e.g., 5-year financial planning and modeling).
- Partner with Store Development and Real Estate teams on new store capital expenditure planning and existing store facilities and maintenance costs.
- Facilitate leadership input in forecasting processes through primers, ad-hoc/variance analysis, and review meeting materials.
- Track business trends and assess the impact of anomalies and shifts in customer behavior on financial performance, adjusting forecasts accordingly.
- Produce comprehensive board and executive reporting packages in Excel and PowerPoint, ensuring high standards for written communication and accuracy.
- Improve and develop forecasting models, automating processes to efficiently incorporate new information.
- Prepare financial business case recommendations to maximize profits and communicate proposals to senior leadership.
- Develop slides and storytelling for the Monthly Business Review.
- Partner with the leadership team on special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of relevant experience with financial and/or business case modeling (e.g., Retail, Brick & Mortar, Subscription e-commerce, Corporate FP&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, or Public Accounting Transaction Groups).
- Extremely analytical, quantitative, and comfortable building advanced spreadsheet models.
- Experience running revenue models and a passion for e-commerce (strongly preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to crystallize key messaging and explain advanced financial concepts to all audiences.
- Experience with board-level reporting (strongly preferred).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple information sources.
- Ability to work independently and switch rapidly between different projects.
- High degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, including developing logical estimates with limited information.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Experience with multiple legal entities, companies, currencies, and hierarchies (a strong plus).
- Great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent relationship management and mediation skills; ability to weigh multiple stakeholder perspectives and drive timely decision-making.
Skills
- Experience with forecasting tools such as Hyperion, Oracle, or Workday.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as ThinkCell, Tableau, MicroStrategy, and/or statistical analysis tools (a plus).
- Ability to develop Excel and MS Office automation using VBA and AI tools (a plus).
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and a hunger for growth.
- Foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies.
Location
This role is based at our El Segundo Headquarters.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000–$115,000. Offered base salary will depend on factors including scope, complexity, related work experience, subject matter expertise, and work location.
