Collection and use of personal data

• Purposes and lawfulness of processing: Munters processes your Personal Data to administer and manage the application process. Your Personal Data is processed based on Munters' legitimate interests to administer your application, assess your suitability for the position and verify your information prior to potentially entering into an employment contract.
• Legal basis for the usage of AI: The legal basis for the usage of AI is legitimate interest. No automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects takes place.
• Types of personal data collected and processed: Contact information, position applied for and how you heard about the position, information about current employment, education, job experience, formal qualifications and certifications, qualifications, references, information from personality-, psychometric- and aptitude assessments, and other information provided by you.
• Additional processing for background checks: Copy of your criminal record, financial information, and other information provided by you. Criminal records or credit checks processed will be irreversibly erased after the background check, while other information will be retained subject to the retention period specified in Section 2.2.
• Record keeping and communication of career opportunities: With your consent, Munters will consider you for other potential positions within the Munters Group and keep you informed of potential career opportunities that suit your profile.
• Use of AI in recruitment: Munters may use AI-tools to support parts of the recruitment process, such as screening applications and matching candidate profiles to job requirements. AI-tools do not make final hiring decisions – all decisions are subject to human review and oversight.

Transfer of personal data to third parties

• Third parties: Relevant entities within the Munters Group if a recruitment process is initiated; IT suppliers and subcontractors that provide services necessary for Munters' business; and legal advisors.
• Transfers to third countries: The recipients of Personal Data specified in Section 3.1 may be located in countries outside the EU/EEA. To ensure adequate protection of Personal Data when it is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, Munters will ensure that the transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards or otherwise permissible according to the GDPR.

Your rights

• Right to information and copy of Personal Data.
• Right to correct or supplement incorrect Personal Data.
• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Right to restrict processing of Personal Data.
• Right to delete Personal Data if it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, if consent is withdrawn, if objection is made and there are no legitimate reasons for processing to continue, if Personal Data has been processed unlawfully, or if deletion is required to fulfill a legal obligation.
• Right to obtain Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and transfer it to another controller.
• Right to withdraw consent at any time.

Contact information

The controller for your Personal Data is the Munters entity specified in the job advertisement. Munters will inform you if the Personal Data is transferred to another Munters group entity. If you have any questions about who the controller is of your Personal Data, please contact dataprotection@munters.com.

Revocation of consent

You may at any time revoke any or all of the above consents that you have given Munters pertaining to the processing of your Personal Data. You may revoke your consent by contacting Munters at TalentAcquisition@groups.munters.com. Munters will cease to process your Personal Data relating to the purposes for which your consent has been revoked. You will receive a verification from Munters when your Personal Data has been deleted.
