Fourth Grade Teacher TNT Primary School Math and Science

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, meaningful lesson plans with clear, measurable outcomes that follow state and local curricula guidelines.
• Differentiate teaching strategies, materials, and remedial programs to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with varying abilities and interests.
• Administer diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, analyze student data, and adjust instructional plans accordingly to ensure high student achievement.
• Create a safe, well-managed, and positive learning environment conducive to student success.
• Regularly confer with parents, colleagues, and administrators regarding student progress and behavior.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and educational conferences to maintain and improve teaching competence.

Essential Qualifications

• Licensure: Must hold a valid Tennessee Teacher's License with an appropriate endorsement for elementary education (e.g., K-5 or Elementary Education K-6).
• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.

Skills

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
• Proficiency in using instructional technology to enhance learning.

Schedule

Typically a 200-day contract for the academic year.

Physical Demands

May require frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting of objects up to 25–50 pounds.
