About the role
Teaching in grades 4.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement curriculum aligned with state standards.
- Instruct students in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop lesson plans and support classroom activities.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
- PA Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education.
- Experience teaching grades 4 preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Qualifications
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a criminal history check.
- Pass a child abuse clearance.
Skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
