About the role
As a Fountain Worker at MGM National Harbor, you’ll serve food and drinks while creating memorable moments for guests in a fast-paced, high-energy resort environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take orders, and serve food and beverages accurately and efficiently
- Prepare, garnish, and package orders to guest preference, including necessary condiments
- Handle cash transactions while following all proper cash-handling and compliance procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front- and back-of-house areas, including tables, counters, and dining spaces
- Properly label, date, stock, and replenish food and beverage products
- Perform opening and closing duties based on assigned shift
- Unload warehouse deliveries and organize products in designated storage areas
- Operate standard kitchen and beverage equipment safely and efficiently
- Resolve guest concerns within scope of authority and escalate issues as needed
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced restaurant (preferred)

Pay
The rate for this role is $21.21 per hour. This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage MGM reasonably expects to pay upon hire and will not be below any applicable minimum wage. Overtime pay is provided in accordance with state requirements. Eligible employees may participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time-off plans, with offerings varying by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
