Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the foundry operations, including molding, core making, and finishing.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency in the foundry.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and protocols, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Monitor production processes, making necessary adjustments to ensure that production targets are met.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure the foundry operates within budget.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and manage foundry staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Liaise with other departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise in the foundry, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a foundry environment, preferably in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in molding, core making, finishing, safety, quality, production, and cost control.
- Strong knowledge of foundry processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Pay
$125,000 - $170,000 per year
