About the role
The Reformer Garage is a boutique Reformer Pilates studio in Fredericksburg, Texas, part of a larger locally owned fitness facility that includes a full gym and private personal trainers. The studio is being designed to feel welcoming, beautiful, energetic, and personal, with a husband‑and‑wife‑owned approach. As a Founding Instructor, you’ll help shape our class schedule from day one, working directly with us to create consistent teaching blocks that work for both instructor and studio. The goal is a reliable schedule for members, sustainable for instructors, and consistent class times that feel like your own. You’ll join before launch to plan the initial schedule and get comfortable, with opportunities to expand as membership grows.
Responsibilities
- Help shape the class schedule and create consistent teaching blocks.
- Lead safe, engaging group Reformer classes.
- Understand and apply modifications and progressions for all experience levels.
- Create an encouraging and welcoming environment for clients.
- Build relationships with clients and enjoy working independently.
Requirements
- Experience teaching Reformer Pilates.
- Current, recognized Pilates/Reformer certification.
- Ability to lead safe, engaging group Reformer classes.
- Understanding of modifications and progressions for all experience levels.
- Consistent, dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently.
- Enjoy building relationships with clients.
- Genuine love for teaching Pilates and desire to establish a new studio.
Pay
$75 per class (plus administrative time paid separately).
