Own Spangle's Product Marketing

Translate Spangle's positioning into all marketing touchpoints, including website, demos, customer stories, sales enablement, founder platform, and buyer education. Ensure Spangle becomes the go-to solution for enterprise retailers seeking AI-driven product discovery.

What You'll Own

  • The Website: Rewrite and continuously improve it to ensure every visitor understands Spangle's unique value proposition. Own the demo flow and customer proof surfaces.

  • Customer Discovery: Spend weekly with customers to learn their pain points, objections, and preferred language. Feed these insights back into product, sales, and company messaging.

  • Sales Narrative and Demo: Create a single, compelling story for every salesperson. Develop a demo flow that showcases Spangle's unique reasoning capabilities.

  • Customer Stories: Turn every enterprise customer into a reusable narrative, including written case studies, videos, on-stage moments, and quotes for press.

  • Founder Platform and Thought Leadership: Manage company LinkedIn posts, keynote materials, panel prep, podcast prep, op-eds, and editorial calendars.

  • Analyst and Influencer Relationships: Build direct relationships with Forrester, Gartner, IDC, and retail-tech influencers to shape category conversations.

  • Press and Conference Presence: Secure modern retail, BoF, Digital Commerce 360, and other media coverage for Shoptalk, NRF, BoF VOICES, and eTail events.

How You'll Work

Work lean by design, personally building the foundation and scaling the team only when necessary. Focus on output, not headcount. Use AI as a force multiplier in your daily work.

Required Experience

  • 8+ Years in B2B SaaS Product Marketing: Last 3–5 years as a senior IC or founding PMM at a Series A–C startup that grew into a recognized name.

  • Track Record of Category-Defining Artifacts: Personalized writing and shipping of category-defining artifacts such as homepages, launch narratives, sales decks, customer stories, comparison pages, and analyst briefings.

  • Positioning-First Thinker: Lead with messaging architecture, competitive positioning, and buyer-language rigor. Treat positioning as testable hypotheses and build dashboards.

  • Comfort with Measurement: Comfortable creating with little structure and equally comfortable talking to customers, writing a homepage, building a demo narrative, or briefing an analyst.

  • Founding PMM Background: Founding PMM at a company that went from $0 to $20M+ ARR with a small team. AI-native startup background or commerce-adjacent experience.
