Founding Product Manager (AI Platform / Enterprise Infra)
About The Role
We’re hiring our first Founding Product Manager to join Orbifold AI’s founding team. This is not a feature-tuning or backlog-maintenance role. You’ll be building a category-defining AI data curation and workflow platform from zero to one, operating in an environment of high ambiguity, fast iteration, and deep ownership.
As Founding PM, you’ll work directly with the CEO and the founding team to define the product vision, translate enterprise customer workflows into system-level requirements, and ship core platform capabilities that shape how multimodal AI data is curated, evaluated, and deployed in production.
You’ll balance hands-on customer discovery with technical depth, helping align product decisions across data infrastructure, model workflows, and enterprise constraints. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in unstructured environments, is fluent in AI-native and infra-adjacent products, and is excited to have founder-level influence on product strategy, execution, and company trajectory—while building systems that become foundational to how enterprises operationalize AI at scale.
What You’ll Do
Own the Enterprise Data & AI Platform
Own product strategy and execution for Orbifold’s enterprise-grade multimodal data curation and workflow platform.
Define and evolve core platform capabilities across the full data lifecycle: ingestion, curation, evaluation, and deployment.
Translate ambiguous customer workflows into clear, buildable product requirements and platform abstractions.
Act as the connective tissue between customer needs, engineering execution, and company strategy.
AI-Native & Infra-First Execution
Design and ship AI-native products for teams training and deploying multimodal foundation models.
Partner closely with research and engineering to bring cutting-edge AI methods into reliable, production-ready systems.
Define APIs, workflows, and infrastructure primitives that balance model quality, latency, cost, scalability, and operational complexity.
Execution & Shipping
Lead end-to-end product cycles: discovery → specification → build → launch → iteration.
Own and deliver product demos, proofs-of-concept, and workflow prototypes for enterprise customers.
Define success metrics and establish tight feedback loops with enterprise users and go-to-market teams to ensure product-market fit and customer adoption.
You Might Be a Fit
Have 2-5 years of experience shipping enterprise products in platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling environments, or in a startup.
Be AI-native: you’ve built AI-first products, worked on ML platforms, or operated close to model and data workflows.
Bring a strong technical foundation and can work fluently with engineers on complex systems, APIs, and AI/ML products.
Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building from zero-to-one in a fast-moving startup environment.
Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and end-to-end ownership.
Learn quickly and adapt to new domains to deeply understand customer workflows and requirements.
Bonus Points
If you have experience with multimodal data systems, model training pipelines, or AI evaluation frameworks.
If you have built products for ML engineers, data teams, or foundation model development.
If you have worked at an early-stage startup as a founding PM or in a first-PM role.
