Founding Product Designer
About the role
We are seeking a founding product designer to help us create beautiful and intuitive interfaces for the next generation of IDEs and shape our brand.
Responsibilities
- Create and design user interfaces for our coding agents
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs are functional and efficient
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity for Conductor
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the software development space
Requirements
- Experience designing for software developers
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for creating elegant and intuitive user experiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional design experience
- Experience working in a startup environment
Skills
- Strong visual design skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of web development and UX/UI design principles

Pay
We aim to pay roughly median salary and 90th percentile equity compared to similar companies at our stage. We give out more stock than other companies because we hire less, and each employee can make an unusually large impact. For exceptional talent, we’re happy to pay exceptional amounts, in cash and especially equity.
