Overview
Ai Financial Operations for Construction. Will sponsor Visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product experience across all Agave products.
- Build our design system from scratch, including tokens, components, patterns, and documentation.
- Design data-dense interfaces, such as tables, filters, reconciliation flows, and sync states.
- Work closely with cofounders, PMs, and engineers to ensure alignment on product direction.
- Collaborate with controllers, AP managers, and project accountants to understand user needs and workflows.
- Ship real B2B products used by real users, with a focus on driving tangible outcomes like activation, retention, and conversion.
Requirements
- Experience designing for blue-collar, back-office, or operations-heavy industries, particularly construction, logistics, manufacturing, field services, trucking, energy, or accounting/ERP software.
- Experience as the first or second designer at an early-stage startup, setting up the tooling, system, and bar before.
- Taste and strong opinions, able to communicate design rationale clearly and concisely.
- High ownership and conscientiousness, managing multiple threads simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Comfort with data-dense, workflow-heavy software.
- Ability to ship code in React, TypeScript, Tailwind, or equivalent technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience as the first or second designer at an early-stage startup, setting up the tooling, system, and bar before.
- Systems thinking, understanding tradeoffs in building a design system for a multi-product platform.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written.
- In-person work in San Francisco, California.

- $125K - $200K annually.
- 0.05% - 0.20% stock option grant.
