Founding Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

Join a YC W25 seed-stage startup building an AI-native platform for defense and aerospace supply chains. We are replacing 40-year-old legacy systems with autonomous operations and have already achieved 7-figure ARR. This is a founding-level engineering position where you will architect and build full-stack systems from scratch that integrate modern AI with complex, legacy industrial environments.

Requirements

• Full-stack mastery: Advanced TypeScript/JavaScript with experience in Svelte, React, or Next.js
• SQL depth: Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL including complex queries and optimization
• Proof of work: Portfolio of shipped work required (GitHub, live app, or video demo)
• Independence: Ability to architect systems and make technical decisions without hand-holding
• Presence: Must be in San Francisco or ready to relocate immediately (relocation and visa sponsorship (E2/O-1) available for the right person)

Responsibilities

• Build robust full-stack systems from zero
• Modernize legacy industrial infrastructure via modern software
• Own high-value supply chain features end-to-end, from database schema design to frontend
• Ship fast in an ambiguous, high-accountability environment
