Founding Forward Deployed Engineer
About the role
You will embed yourself into the client workflow to identify problems and opportunities, build the team of forward deployed engineers, develop solutions using Rebolt to automate phone calls, email, and messaging systems, lead technical implementations and ensure smooth integration with customer systems and data sources, build custom integrations connecting our platform to freight management systems, CRMs, and databases, provide technical guidance throughout the customer lifecycle from onboarding to ongoing optimization, and collaborate with engineering to feed customer insights back into product development.
Responsibilities
- Embed yourself into the client workflow to identify problems and opportunities
- Build the team of forward deployed engineers
- Develop solutions using Rebolt to automate phone calls, email, and messaging systems
- Lead technical implementations and ensure smooth integration with customer systems and data sources
- Build custom integrations connecting our platform to freight management systems, CRMs, and databases
- Provide technical guidance throughout the customer lifecycle from onboarding to ongoing optimization
- Collaborate with engineering to feed customer insights back into product development
Requirements
- Have engineering background with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Be proficient in Python and Typescript
- Have experience with APIs & integrations including REST, GraphQL, OAuth, and JWT
- Be able to translate complex technical concepts into clear language for customers and stakeholders
- Have a customer-centric mindset
Qualifications
- Are adaptable and thrive in fast-paced, evolving tech environments
- Have worked with AI solving company problems
- Can diagnose technical issues quickly
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in Python and Typescript
