Founding Fellow, New Indications

Responsibilities

• Source real-world datasets, clinical trial datasets, and biobank resources to support AI model development and evaluation.
• Develop and manage a network of relationships with key opinion leaders, clinical advisors, early adopters, and research collaborators to validate hypotheses, gather insights, and identify potential customers and partners.
• Develop internal knowledge (memos, draft collateral material) in preparation for medical affairs/sales teams in the future.
• Partner with engineering and research teams to inform clinical-grade model development.
• Work directly with the CEO to execute on the launch in record speed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in biotech, pharma, diagnostics, or healthcare strategy, management consulting, or finance.
• PREFERRED: MD, PhD, PharmD, NP, or a Master’s degree in cancer biology, molecular biology, cell biology, biomedical sciences, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related life sciences field.
• Ability to quickly and independently process and learn new and complex scientific and medical topics.
• Strong soft skills and being able to speak to various audiences, from medical key opinion leaders to software engineers.
• Optional but preferred: experience presenting scientific content to audiences.
• PREFERRED: Experience writing academic/scientific content (e.g., peer-reviewed manuscripts, academic grant applications).
• Bias for action.
• Ability to understand the big picture behind research and development and how it needs to translate to customers’ experience and product quality.
