Founding Engineering Lead

About the role

You're a senior engineer who has built AI agent systems in production and led teams or projects at startups. You've shipped under uncertainty, without specs, on timelines that didn't make sense on paper.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and velocity of the product.
• Prioritize, implement, and own features end to end, from customer problem to deployed solution.
• Work directly with enterprise customers.
• Make hard calls on scope and sequencing with limited information.
• Measure success by whether the product grows revenue.
• Help build the engineering team over time.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in full-stack engineering.
• Experience leading or working on AI agent systems in production.
• Proven ability to ship under uncertainty and on tight timelines.
• Strong understanding of software development practices and methodologies.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing.
• Experience with database systems and data warehousing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of DevOps principles and tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
