Founding Engineer - Full Stack

Who We Are

We are a small team of engineers (from Google and Apple) and clinicians passionate about improving healthcare. Our services include solving labor shortages, reducing churn, and slashing administrative costs in the $250B home health nursing industry, where 40% of revenue is spent on administrative tasks. In just 5 years, we predict that 40% of nursing notes will be generated by purpose-built AI.

What You’ll Do

• Design and scale systems from scratch to launch AI features that extract structured data from messy PDFs and audio transcripts.
• Build intuitive user interfaces to enhance human accuracy and productivity in clinical documentation.
• Experiment with new backend technologies to scale backends and improve efficiency.
• Bonus: Learn about medicine and understand the flow of money in healthcare.

Who You Are

• A strong generalist engineer who takes full ownership of projects from ideation to launch.
• Willing to take a high-level direction and run with it.
• Excited to dive into large language models (LLMs).

• Sam - Built Google Photos from 0 to 1B; tech lead for Photos Android (100+ engineers), previously an engineer at Bump (Sequoia) and Convex (a16z).
