As a Founding Engineer at Sekai, you will build and define our native Android foundation from the ground up. What You Will Do

• Architect and build the native Android experience, including app shell architecture, navigation, and core lifecycle management.
• Implement complex hybrid integrations between native Kotlin and React Native, Flutter, or WebView-based interactive experiences.
• Partner with AI and design teams to ship high-performance, polished consumer features that drive engagement for millions of users.

Requirements

• Has 5+ years of professional Android engineering experience with deep expertise in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Demonstrates a proven track record of shipping consumer-facing mobile apps and building technical platforms from 0 to 1.
• Possesses experience integrating hybrid frameworks like React Native or Flutter into native Android environments within high-growth startups.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of cloud services and serverless architectures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
• Experience with React Native, Flutter, or other hybrid frameworks.
• Understanding of machine learning and AI concepts.
