About the role

Join Muro AI as a founding engineer to revolutionize the $13 trillion pre-construction market. You’ll build production-grade AI agents and RAG pipelines that process massive, messy construction documents and automate complex workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy multi-agent workflows using Python and FastAPI to automate multi-step construction tasks such as bid leveling and RFI generation.
  • Develop production RAG systems and computer vision models to interpret 1,500-page document sets, including hand-marked floor plans and structural drawings.
  • Embed with customers during bid weeks to translate real-world pain points into intelligent agents that integrate with Procore APIs and Excel.

Requirements

  • Has 4+ years of experience shipping production-grade AI features, with deep technical expertise in NLP, computer vision, or agentic frameworks.
  • Demonstrates mastery of the modern AI stack, including Python, FastAPI, Celery, and cloud infrastructure, while comfortable handling messy, unstructured data.
  • Possesses a strong startup DNA, having likely been a founder or early hire who thrives on owning projects from 0→1 with half-baked specifications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree and be proficient in Python, FastAPI, and related technologies. Experience with construction industry-specific tools and knowledge of the pre-construction market are also beneficial.

Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Python and FastAPI.
  • Experience with NLP, computer vision, and agentic frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment practices.
  • Experience with Procore APIs and Excel integration.
