Founding Design Engineer

About the role

As our first design hire, you’ll own everything from product UX to brand expression. You’ll be working hands-on with engineers, users, and leadership to translate complex AI infrastructure into experiences that feel approachable, powerful, and magical.

Responsibilities

• Own product UX and brand expression
• Collaborate with engineers, users, and leadership
• Translate complex AI infrastructure into user-friendly experiences

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year full-time design/engineering experience
• Proficiency with Figma and design systems
• Ability to prototype in code (React/Next.js or similar)
• Strong product sense and track record of driving outcomes
• Excellent communication skills
• High ownership
• Love shipping quickly and being in a fast-paced environment
